ATM Plus: What You Need to Know
At Peoples Bank & Trust, we’re always looking for ways to make banking more convenient while keeping the personal service you know and trust. As part of that commitment, we’re introducing ATM Plus machines.
Below are answers to some common questions to help you feel confident about the change.
What is ATM plus?
An ATM plus is similar to an ATM, but with more capabilities. The “plus” is, with a simple tap on the screen, a way you can connect directly to a live Peoples Bank & Trust CSR plus banker for personalized service.
Why is Peoples Bank & Trust making this change?
We’re investing in new technology to better serve our customers. ATM plus allows us to offer faster service, longer full-service banking hours, and more flexibility, while still providing the friendly, local support you expect from us.
Will I still be able to talk to a real person?
Absolutely! During extended service hours, (M-F 7a-7p, Sat. 8a-2p) you can speak face-to-face with a live banker with ATM plus for help with transactions or questions. With our extended lobby hours most of our branches are now open from 8a-4p Monday-Friday and 9a-12p on Saturday.
What can I do with the ATM plus?
You can complete most everyday banking transactions, including:
- Depositing cash and checks
- Withdrawing cash in multiple denominations
- Making loan payments
- Transferring funds between accounts
- Checking balances
- Getting assistance from a live CSR plus personal banker
When are ATM plus machines available?
ATM deposits and withdrawals are available 24/7. Plus, live CSR plus personal banker assistance is available during extended hours, M-F 7a-7p & Sat. 8a-2p to provide you with even greater convenience.
Is it safe to use our ATM plus?
Yes. ATM plus uses secure, encrypted technology to protect your information—just like our ATMs and in-branch systems.
What if I’m not comfortable using an ATM plus?
We’re here to help! Our team will gladly walk you through your first visit and answer any questions. Most customers find ATM plus easy to use after just one or two transactions.
Will there still be staff inside the bank?
Yes! Our local team will continue to serve you inside the branch and is always happy to help with your banking needs. With our extended lobby hours most of our branches are now open from 8a-4p Monday-Friday and 9a-12p on Saturday.

What about making night drop deposits?
Our night drop is now an express drop. Any deposit placed in the box before our lobby closes will be processed on that business day.
