Peoples Bank & Trust Donates $35,000 to Local Schools

Peoples Bank & Trust, in partnership with the Federal Home Loan Bank of Chicago, is making an impact in populations hardest hit by COVID-19. To support remote learning costs during the pandemic, Peoples Bank & Trust is providing $5,000 to each of the follow school districts: Charleston, IL CUSD #1, Pana CUSD #8, Taylorville CUSD #3, Altamont CUSD #10, North Greene CUSD #3, Waverly CUSD #6, and Ball-Chatham CUSD #5.
John Gardner, President/CEO stated, “We are pleased to contribute to our school districts to reduce the financial burden to students, teachers and the district to support necessary operational changes required due to the pandemic.”
