Peoples Bank & Trust Donates to CCYMCA Capital Campaign and Sustaining Drive

Pana, Ill. – January 13, 2026 – Peoples Bank & Trust is proud to announce that it recently donated $5,000 to the Christian County YMCA Capital Campaign and $1000 to the Strong Kids Sustaining Drive.
John Gardner, President and CEO of Peoples Bank & Trust stated, “We are proud to be partnering with and supporting the Christian County YMCA capital campaign initiative and sustaining drive.” Gardner continued, “They provide so much value to the communities they serve through youth, adult and senior programs that truly help keep members engaged and fit. This donation will help in them expand programming and make enhancements to the building’s overall revitalization.”
As a pillar of our community, the YMCA has long been dedicated to fostering healthy living, youth development, and social responsibility. With their growth, the need for facility improvements has become ever more apparent.
The capital campaign, initiated in 2023, is titled, “Help Us Make A Difference.” The goal of the campaign is to assist with facility improvements to the Athletic Center, Family Aquatic Center, Wellness Center as well as other building needs.
Gardner shared, “Our mottos is ‘We Put People First’, which is exactly what the Christian County YMCA does on a daily basis through all of its great programming options. Through our commitments to these campaigns, we hope to help support their efforts and the positive impact they provide.”
