Peoples Bank & Trust Donates to Effingham County CEO Program
December 5, 2017
Terri Beal, AVP, Consumer Banking at Peoples Bank & Trust in Altamont recently presented a check for $1000.00 to the Noah Brandenburger, CEO Ambassador of the Effingham County CEO Program. In giving back to the community, Peoples Bank & Trust is committed to not only serving our customers, but also the communities it serves.
The CEO program is much more than a textbook course. Rather, students are immersed in real life learning experiences with the opportunity to take risks, manage the results and learn from the outcomes. The class meets daily for 1.5 hours for the entire year. Students must submit a written request to join the class and must complete an entrepreneurial profile. The CEO program teaches encouragement, creativity and leadership. Entrepreneurship education seeks to prepare people, especially youth, to be responsible enterprising individuals who become entrepreneurs or entrepreneurial thinkers and contribute to economic development and sustainable communities.
