Peoples Bank & Trust donates to Taylorville Optimist Club

Peoples Bank & Trust recently donated $750.00 to the Taylorville Optimist Club to benefit the “Christmas for Kids” program. The program hosts approximately 40 families and 100 children celebrate Christmas with an evening of fellowship, food and fun and a special visit from Santa Claus. The group also sings Christmas Carols, led by Ron Spears and Pastor Ted Marrinan. This in one event the Optimist really look forward to each year and come out in strength to help with the dinner and sharing of gifts with the children.
