David Kromphardt joins Peoples Bank & Trust in Chatham

Pana, Illinois: David Kromphardt recently joined Peoples Bank & Trust as Community Bank President of our Springfield location. In his role with the bank, David will assume responsibilities in business banking in the Chatham/Springfield area with particular emphasis on attracting branch customers for business lending and deposits solutions. He is eager to begin his position and looks forward to meeting and serving many new clients.
David mostly recently was Vice President of Commercial Lending for Jackson County Bank in Columbus, IN. Prior to that, he worked for nearly 20 years at Spring Valley City Bank, Spring Valley, IL as Chief Operating Officer, Commercial Lender and President/CEO. Earlier in his career, David worked for the FDIC/Resolution Trust Corporation working through the failed Savings & Loan crisis as well as other banking roles in Moline and St. Charles, IL.

David and his wife, Barb, are relocating to Illinois to be closer to their family. David and Barb are very active in their community and church. They both are looking forward to getting involved in the Chatham and Springfield community.
