Peoples Bank & Trust Makes Generous Donation to Pana Community Hospital

Peoples Bank & Trust recenlty committed to a $50,000 donation to the Pana Community Hospital Foundation. The funds will be used toward the Pana Community Hospital, “Your Health-Our Future” Building Project. The project will create additional space for a new surgical suite, laboratory, diagnostic imaging, cardiopulmonary, materials management and dietary departments.

The check was presented to the Foundation by Terry Schafer, AVP/HR and Karen Kerr, VP, Operations. Accepting the check on behalf of the Foundation were Foundation Vice-Chairperson, VIcki Gullion, Foundation Executive Director, Kim Rodgers and Trina Casner, CEO of Pana Community Hospital.

The facility expansion and improvement project represents a momentous step toward the Hospital’s mission of being the leading partner in assuring community-based, quality health care for the citizens of Pana and surrounding communities. Peoples Bank is very pleased the Hospital has shown the foresight and commitment to initiate this project, and the Bank is very happy to be able to assist in this endeavor. Several members of the Peoples Bank & Trust Board of Directors and Officers are current or past members of the Pana Community Hospital Board of Directors and Hospital Foundation Board of Directors.
